Two new sires were purchased at the 2009 National Droughtmaster Sale held in Rockhampton mid-September. Barwonga Farm 31 was purchased for $9500 and Jembrae C.J. for $35 000. Both sires will be used in the Wallace Vale herd.

This month a new bore was dug on the western side of Eversleigh by Queensland Drilling Services. The bore was drilled to a depth of 526m in to the Hooray Aquifer with the water rising to ground level.
