COMMERCIAL HEIFERS SELLING AT DIAMANTINA SALE IN WINTON
Eversleigh Droughtmasters presented a line of 250 heifers from their commercially accredited Droughtmaster herd at the 2010 Diamantina Droughtmaster Bull & Female Sale on Friday 21 May. The heifers were true-to-type Droughtmasters, predominantly polled and hadbeen joined to bulls since mid-November last year. Sires running with the heifers included selected registered bulls from the Eversleigh and Wallace Vale stud herds as well as bulls including Rocky View Foreman, Farnham Ideal, Garthowen Oke 2, Giunda 808 and Western Red Capers (see below).
The heifers were preg-tested by Trevor Smith from Charters Towers Veterinary Surgery on May 6.
